| Edinburgh
Waterfront is a destination to be appreciated by wandering
through the cobbled wynds, absorbing the maritime heritage, and by
spending time on the local attractions and amenities. Experience something
different such as a chinese health therapy or a new challenge like
indoor rock climbing. Often it can be these low-key activities which
add a different and memorable dimension to your visit. Check out the
options on our interactive map.
But of course, you should not miss world-class attractions such
as The Royal Yacht Britannia. The experience starts in the Britannia
Visitor Centre, located on the 2nd floor of Ocean Terminal. Step
aboard and follow in the footsteps of Kings and Queens, Presidents
and Prime Ministers.
The main tourist attractions of Edinburgh City Centre are also
just a short distance away. But it is worth taking in some of the
other attractions such as the Royal Botanic Gardens at Inverleith
or historic South Queensferry where you can visit Dalmeny House,
see the spectacular Forth Bridges or take a cruise to Inchcolm Island
where you'll see seals, possibly dolphins and porpoise, as well
as an interesting variety of seabirds
Even take a bracing walk along the beach at Portobello.
