Edinburgh is known as the Festival City and the Waterfront is no exception. Check out our interactive map for the programme of events, especially Festival of the Sea, May 2003.

And, if you've not been to the cinema for some time, Ster-Century Cinemas in Ocean Terminal is the place to go. Featuring 12-screens, showing the very latest releases on the biggest multiplex screens in Scotland - in superb armchair comfort with plenty of legroom!

Evening entertainment mainly centres on the bars. The Shore Bar holds regular jazz nights as do many other bars and restaurants in the area. You may even stumble across a little impromptu late-night singing in Giuilianos.

What about the Commplex located half-way along Commercial Street? Programme information is available through our interactive map. Fancy a flutter - try Cascades - the casino on Ocean Drive - but remember, because of licensing laws, you need to take out membership 24 hours before admission.
